Ummm….
Sigur Rós are selling their own gumdrops
Made by, um, well, a leading cannabis brand.

Sigur Rós have always been ones for strange ideas, but they’ve really outdone themselves this time. They’ve teamed up with leading cannabis brand (it’s news to us that such things even existed) Lord Jones to create their own edibles.
Described as “Wild Sigurberry THC-infused medicated gumdrops,” the new sweets (we guess they’re sweets?) are “inspired by the flavors of foraged Icelandic berries”. Announced just in time for 4/20 too. What a world.
Speaking of the slightly bonkers project, a Lord Jones spokesperson said: “For us, it really is a dream come true to collaborate with Sigur Rós. Their music has been more than an inspiration to us over the years.”
To celebrate the new project, the band and the company will be hosting something they’re calling a “sound bath” (we are extremely intrigued at this) where fans can taste the gumdrops and view a whole bunch of multimedia content and sounds. The 21st century, huh?
Sigur Rós are bringing their world tour to the UK in September, playing a handful of shows including two nights at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
