Sigur Rós are hosting their own festival
Norður Og Niður comes to Iceland between Christmas and New Year.

Sigur Rós are planning their very own festival, coming to Iceland at the end of this year.
Norður Og Niður will feature four performances from the trio in the Eldborg room of Reykjavik’s biggest concert hall, Harpa. It marks the band’s first homeland performances in five years.
The festival, which translates as “go north and go down”, or the infinitely creepier “everything’s going to hell”, is also set to feature all manner of film screenings, art installations and more.
There’s few other details revealed about the festivities, but Sigur Rós themselves will play in the Eldborg hall each night between December 27th-30th of this year.
