Sigur Ros Plan To Release New Album Next Spring
The introverted” record follows on from 2008’s ‘Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust’.”

Sigur Ros have revealed they’re planning to release a new album in the spring of 2012.
The album’s been quite a long time coming, with the band’s most recent studio album, ‘Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust’, having been released in 2008.
They have, however, worked on numerous other projects: such as frontman Jonsi’s solo work, and recent live album and film ‘Inni’.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, the band said the new material is ‘introverted,’ ‘floaty and minimal.’
More news is expected shortly.
