Sigur Rós have announced 2017 European tour dates
They’re expected to play tunes from their upcoming new album and more.

Icelandic post-rock faves Sigur Rós are already heading out on a whopping US tour this year (seriously, it’s massive) and now they’ve expanded their plans by heading across the pond in September and October.
Kicking off in the UK, the band are playing two dates in both Manchester and London before heading off to Glasgow. They’ll then hit the continent, playing in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Tickets for the new dates go on sale to members of the Sigur Rós mailing list on 1st February, with general sale opening on 9am on 3rd February.
‘An Evening With Sigur Rós’ will be the first time the group have played without a support act, instead playing two sets with an interval. They’re also expected to play songs from their as-yet-unannounced eighth album.
