Sivu unveils brand new track, ‘Four Leaf Clover’

It’s his first new material since album ‘Sweet Sweet Silent’.

Sivu has shared a brand new track.

‘Four Leaf Clover’ is taken from the songwriter’s forthcoming EP ‘This Unfruitful Love’, and is his first new material since last year’s full-length, ‘Sweet Sweet Silent’.

He explains that the track “was written towards the end of ‘Sweet Sweet Silent’, but to me it felt like a different entity from the new album so I really wanted this track to have a separate life. The song is based around this idea of falling in and out of love with luck itself. Reflecting on my career to date, there have definitely been some extreme high points which I feel truly grateful for, but with that there is always the crushing low points to balance you out. And it’s in those moments you are always yearning for those lucky breaks and any opportunities you can, but most of the time you are just waiting for nothing and need to make things happen for yourself.”

The EP coincides with a short UK tour, beginning in Colchester at the end of the month.
