Skepta airs video for new single ‘Shutdown’
Grime breakthrough’s latest track gets a big day out at London Barbican.
Grime MC Skepta has unveiled the video for his ‘Shutdown’ single.
Released yesterday to coincide with the single’s release, the Tottenham-born artist took to London Barbican for the video, which was directed by FKA twigs collaborator Grace LaDoja. Skepta produced the video alongside Ragz Originale.

Skepta and JME are set to play a bill-topping set at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival, 16th May. He’ll also play a set at Corn Exchange, with the festival running from 14th-16th May. Elsewhere this summer, he plays Finland’s Flow Festival, running 14th-16th August.
