Skepta shares brand new ‘Coming Soon’ track
The team up with Makonnen and Céon follows a triumphant Glastonbury showing.

Surprise! Skepta’s shared a brand new track. Double surprise! It’s actually pretty upbeat.
A far cry from his angry, gloomier work to date, ‘Coming Soon’ finds Skepta pull back the aggression in favour of a lighthearted, fairground-esque ditty. “‘Shutdown’, that’s a fuckin’ tune / I heard your tape and you ain’t sayin’ nothing new” he shrugs.
The track, which features Makonnen and Céon, follows a triumphant showing atop Glastonbury’s main Pyramid stage this weekend. Listen below.
Skepta will play Melt! (15th - 17th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
