Skepta features on new ‘Overseas’ single from Canadian rapper Smoke Dawg
The Mercury winner links up with Drake’s pals for the new track.
After teasing the release all weekend, Skepta’s popped up on a new single from Canadian rapper Smoke Dawg.
‘Overseas’ is produced by Drake affiliate Murda Beatz, and sees Skeppy take the lead as he and Smoke Dawg have a jolly lovely time in Canada in the video. It also features the exceptional lines “I’ve got myself, fuck the lottery / Had my life planned out first time I played Monopoly.” So there’s that.
Watch the track’s new video below - Skepta plays a huge, sold out show at London enormo-dome Alexandra Palace on Friday 2nd December. ‘ICYMI’, he won the Mercury Prize the other week, too.
