Skepta gets into the Halloween spirit with ‘No Security’
It’s his second treat of the day.
Not content with dropping just that Section Boyz collaboration for his Halloween treat, Skepta’s shared ‘No Security’, another brand new solo shot.
Built upon a suitably spooky synth line, it samples none other than Malcolm X - “I am a man who believes that I died 20 years ago, and I live like I’m dead already,” Malcolm’s voice pronounces at the start of the track. It shares more than a few sonic nods to ‘It Ain’t Safe’, too - a track that was initially dropped two Halloweens ago, before ending up on Skepta’s Mercury Prize-winning album ‘Konnichiwa’.
Listen to ‘No Security’ below - it comes ahead of a huge, sold-out Alexandra Palace show for Skepta in December.
