Skepta plots new documentary Greatness Only
His sister Julie Adenuga of Beats 1 will also appear in the Apple Music film.
It’s fair to say that Skepta has had a bit of a decent year - scooping the Mercury Prize for his long-awaited debut album ‘Konnichiwa,’ and selling out London’s Ally Pally. Oh yeah, and he became best pals with Adele too. As you do.
He’s already announced plans to make a film about his Boy Better Know collective, and now Skepta’s plotting another film-based project. A new documentary about the Tottenham MC, titled Greatness Only, is out on Apple Music on 19th December.
The Apple Music and Beats 1 collaboration will trace Skepta’s steps over the last decade; from his first steps in the UK grime scene, to his global stardom.
Loads of Skepta’s pals will feature in Greatness Only, including his sister Julie Adenuga (currently a presenter on Beats 1, and previously a familiar face at London station Rinse FM.)
