Looks like Skepta’s recording with Rory Attwell
The Warm Brains star’s produced everyone from Palma Violets, to TRAAMS, to The Vaccines and more.
After nabbing this year’s Mercury Prize, it looks like Skepta’s hopped straight back in the studio - though it might not be the first studio you’d expect.
Brattwell Recordings, based in London’s Lightship95 studio, took to Facebook yesterday to share the news that Skepta had popped in for a bit of recording time. Owned and operated by Rory Attwell - the name behind Warm Brains - it’s a studio set-up that’s produced work for everyone from The Vaccines and Palma Violets, through to TRAAMS, Yak, Mazes and Childhood. Not your standard grime fare, let’s be honest.
“Bizzle’s here. Been a while”, they later offered as an update. Check out the post below, and read DIY’s review of the Mercury-winning ‘Konnichiwa’ here.
