Skrillex releases video for ‘Dirty Vibe’

The latest instalment in 2014’s sensory overload zeitgeist, Skrillex’s latest video for ‘Dirty Vibe’ should come locked up in an airtight box covered in ‘flashing warning’ signs. You have been warned.

Predominantly set against a white backdrop and featuring numerous glittery costume changes (no, we didn’t mean that kind of flashing), it’s a mile away from last month’s Nabil-directed video for ‘Fuck That’. That particular clip gave a cinematic edge to Skrillex’s aesthetic – this latest endeavour is more like an explosion in the foyer’s pick’n’mix aisle.

Guest features from k-pop stars CL and G-Dragon – the latter of which is essentially Korea’s answer to Riff Raff – only up the madness, in a day-glo tornado of handclap snares and signature bass warping. Proceed with caution.
