LIDO Festival confirms bonus Jamie xx sets with Nia Archives and Skrillex
The event series will also host Charli xcx, London Grammar, Outbreak Festival and more in Victoria Park this Summer.
LIDO Festival - the fledging London event that’s due to take over Victoria Park next month - has announced that Jamie xx will be performing not one, but three (!) sets over the course of his headline day on Saturday 7th June.
In addition to his bill-topping set, the dance music icon will also be teaming up with Grammy-winner Skrillex and new gen junglist Nia Archives for a pair of special b2b sets - and, what’s more, it’ll be Nia’s first ever back-to-back set.
Elsewhere on the lineup - which has been specially curated by Jamie xx himself - crowds will be treated to appearances experimental boundary-breaker Arca, Mercury Prize winner Sampha, fellow xx member and joyous DJ Romy, Animal Collective’s Panda Bear, and many more.
LIDO promises to platform some of music’s most contemporary headline acts, whilst also working closely with said headliners to carefully curate bespoke line-ups that reflect their enduring influence and spotlight emerging artists. LIDO also aims to focus on sustainability and community development, and has partnered with local initiatives in East London to ensure its positive impact extends beyond the music.
