Peachy keen Skrillex reunites with From First To Last for ‘Make War’
He’s shared a new single with his former emo pals.
If you’ve mentioned a certain drop-loving EDM pixie to anyone with a semblance of an emo past at all, ever, you’ll have heard one name - From First To Last.
Before his domination of the world’s dance floors, festivals and celebrity Instagram feeds, Skrillex - then just plain ol’ Sonny Moore - fronted the post-hardcore band between 2004 and February 2007, when he left thanks to some gnarled vocal cords (and to form a solo career, obv).
Then overnight, on his 29th Birthday, Skrillex posted a link with the words “Happy Birthday”, to a new song from the band, ‘Make War’, featuring his vocals.
The track is also co-written and produced by him. Listen via Spotify below.
