Slam Dunk Festival Bill Expands: Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything & More

The festival has also revealed two side shows, in Scotland and Wales.

Slam Dunk Festival have announced a series of new additions to their line-up, as well as revealing details of two side shows, set to take place in Scotland and Wales.

First off, Motion City Soundtrack will be returning to our shores to play the fest, after an otherwise ambiguous future for their touring life in the UK. Alongside them, Say Anything make their triumphant live return to the UK, after a staggering four years since their last visit.

The full list of bands added in today’s new wave of acts are: The Blackout, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, Hit The Lights, The Story So Far, Lower Than Atlantis, While She Sleeps, Of Mice And Men (who we exclusively revealed in this month’s issue of DIY Magazine), Don Broco, The Word Alive, For The Fallen Dreams, I See Stars and Upon A Burning Body.

The line-up for this year’s event already boasts the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Every Time I Die, Mayday Parade and Architects.

Slam Dunk Festival 2012 will take place at both Leeds University and Hatfield’s University Of Hertfordshire on the 26th and 27th May, respectively.

Slam Dunk have also revealed details of two side shows; one set to take place in Wales and one in Scotland. Full details are as follows.

Slam Dunk Wales takes place at Cardiff University on Monday 28th May. Doors are at 5pm and the line-up, so far, is:
Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, Cancer Bats, While She Sleeps, Of Mice & Men, The Audition, Don Broco & Straight Lines

Slam Dunk Scotland takes place at Glasgow O2 ABC on Tuesday 29th May. Doors are at 6pm and the line-up, so far, is:
Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, Cancer Bats, Hit The Lights, The Story So Far

Tickets are priced at £22.50 and can be purchased now.
