Slaves announce one-off show at Margate’s Dreamland
Cheer up, Margate!
The seaside town of Margate might be more used to the ring of slot machines than the rumble of shouty punk, but this summer, refurbished theme park Dreamland is opening its doors for a special show with Slaves.
A one-off event from the team behind By The Sea festival (which last year hosted Wolf Alice, Wild Beasts and more), the gig will take place on July 22nd, with special guests still to be announced. You’ll also get to go on a bunch of rides while you’re there, and frankly who doesn’t want to have a thrash around to ‘Cheer Up, London’ and then go on a ghost train?
Hailing from fellow Kent town Royal Tunbridge Wells, the show will also act as a hometown bash for the duo, so expect vibes to be running high.
