Soccer Mommy gets the date of Halloween wrong in her new ‘Inside Out’ video

Super-talented New Yorker Soccer Mommy is gearing up to release mini-album ‘Collection’ on 4th August (via Fat Possum Records) but in the meantime she’s got a video for stand-out track ‘Inside Out’.

We’re not really sure what’s going on here to be honest, but if we’re hazarding a guess, this is an incredibly serious narrative about one of life’s largest embarrassments; getting the date of a key celebration wrong. In said video, Soccer Mommy and band enthusiastically don Halloween costumes to perform ‘Inside Out’, and then Sophie Allison spends a lot of time hiding in a fire escape. Probably because she’s mortified that Halloween isn’t actually for another few months!
