Soccer Mommy shares acoustic track ‘She Is’ and announces new EP ‘Evergreen Stripped’

Soccer Mommy - aka Sophie Allison - has today released an acoustic single, ‘She Is’. The track will feature on her newly announced forthcoming EP, ‘Evergreen Stripped’, due on 6th June.

The acoustic EP was designed to offer a raw and unfiltered version of her music, focusing on the lyrical meaning, while stripping back her songs to just her and an acoustic guitar. “This song didn’t make the cut for ‘Evergreen’ but it was always really special to me,” says Allison on ‘She Is’.

“I think the stripped version does it justice while staying close to the demo,” she added.

The new single and forthcoming EP follows the Nashville songwriter’s recent album by the same name (Evergreen), which was released back in October. Allison recently shared a laid-bare version of album favourite, ‘Driver’, which she also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, before announcing this special EP.
