SOPHIE shares a new video for ‘It’s Okay To Cry’

SOPHIE hasn’t released any solo material since releasing singles collection ‘PRODUCT’ way back in 2015 (although she has emerged on production credits for others), but now she’s back with a new track and video!

‘It’s Okay To Cry’ is a shimmering ballad from the London producer, which isn’t as abrasive as much of her previous output. It’s mostly very restrained. Until it gets to the climactic moments and the fizzling energy that’s been bubbling underneath the track bursts forth in a thunderous jolt.

The track’s also accompanied by a new video, which has been self-directed by SOPHIE. It features her against a backdrop of sunny skies, as she eventually ascends up into the stratosphere (much like the track itself, then).
