Ahead of the release of their Rarities compilation, ‘Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path’, Soundgarden have unveiled another previously unheard song.
‘Kristi’, Matt Cameron’s favourite Soundgarden song, is originally from 1996’s ‘Down On The Upsides’ sessions and has only seen the light of day once, during a performance at the 1995 Reading Festival.
‘Kristi’, alongside the previously shared ‘Storm’, ‘Twin Tower’ a cover of Sly Stone and The Family Stone’s ‘Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf again)’ and a remix of 2010’s ‘The Telephantasm’ will appear on the 50 track compilation celebrating the back roads of the bands legacy, which dates back to 1984.
Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path is out on 24th November 2014 and you can listen to the ominous thunder of Kristi below.
