Splashh confirm new album ‘Waiting A Lifetime’
They’ve also shared the title track from the new LP.

After running ‘Rings’ around us last year, Australia-via-London fuzz-fiends Splashh have confirmed that their new LP ‘Waiting A Lifetime’ is out on 14th April! Huzzah!
Recorded last summer in Brooklyn alongside Nicolas Vernhes (The War On Drugs, Deerhunter, Animal Collective), the songs on ‘Waiting A Lifetime’ have been born from a period of “self-imposed exile”. The band’s Toto Vivian explained in a statement: “We had been sitting with the demos for 3 years, so we had an idea of what we thought the album should sound like. When we went into the studio with Nicolas, we started fresh and tore the songs apart. It was a lot of fun to experiment and take it as far as we could. It was liberating.”
If you still think three months is too long to wait for the second record, then the band have also shared the album’s title track. It’s typically scuzzy, but also has a playful side, with a few jaunty whistles in the mix.
