STONE join forces with DOPE LEMON for new version of ‘Save Yourself’

“It’s another lesson for myself to always go for it, as the worst they can say is no.”

STONE share new version of 'Fear Life For A Lifetime' closer 'Save Yourself', featuring DOPE LEMON

Hot on the heels of the release of their storming debut album ‘Fear Life For A Lifetime’, Liverpool quartet STONE have now shared a reworked version of the LP’s vulnerable closing track ‘Save Yourself’, this time featuring Aussie indie royalty DOPE LEMON

Having first connected in 2023 after meeting at the Netherlands’ Best Kept Secret festival, then again at that year’s Rock Werchter festival, the two artists decided to collaborate on the number after STONE frontman Fin Power “plucked up the courage to ask”. “I never would have believed you if you told me I would have gotten one of my favourite musicians to play and sing on one of my records,” Fin has shared. “It’s another lesson for myself to always go for it, as the worst they can say is no.”

For his part, Angus Stone (aka Dope Lemon) has described STONE as “the most wonderful humans who… just so turned out to write incredible songs from the heart. Connecting on this tune was a great pleasure. I haven’t heard a band with this kind of honesty & magic for a long time. May the lemon be with you”.
