STONE make riotous return with new track ‘NEVER AGAIN’
The propulsive number explores what the band have termed “the fallout of our major label experience”.

Scouse noisniks STONE have returned to share new single ‘NEVER AGAIN’, their first release since the arrival of their debut album, ‘Fear For A Lifetime’, in July last year.
Raw and unrestrained, for the Liverpool quartet, the track is a sonic means of asserting a newly regained sense of control over their trajectory, following their departure from former label Polydor Records. Explaining more about the context behind the ‘NEVER AGAIN’, vocalist Fin Power has shared: “the track is a reaction to having had some of our control taken away for a chance of radio or viral success. Sonically ‘NEVER AGAIN’ is lightning in a bottle. Tracked live, it captures the band’s aggressive energy, exploding into its choruses before hitting even harder as the song ends.”
Continuing, he notes: “Lyrically, the track highlights the emotional journey of turning to sobriety whilst dealing with the fallout of our major label experience. The anger of feeling like a scratchcard for the previous label and the feeling of pride that succumbs under the anger drove the writing of the lyrics.”
