Listen Stormzy says new album is “coming soon” on new freestyle ‘4PM In London’
“I’ve been working fucking hard, the second album’s coming soon I swear.”
It’s safe to say Stormzy’s had a pretty massive year. From releasing debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ to playing festivals across the globe, earning a Mercury nomination and scooping plenty of other awards.
It sees Michael Omari’s not satisfied, though. On a newly-released freestyle called ‘4PM In London’, the rapper reveals that his second album is “coming soon”, while also taking aim at older artists who aren’t into his music and major labels who want to sign him, while consistently referring back to his roots.
“Heard the first hit, they want the sequel,” he raps, to the beat of Drake track ‘4PM In Calabasas’.
“I’ve been working fucking hard, the second album’s coming soon I swear,” the freestyle ends, and though we might not quite get a ‘GSAP’ follow-up in 2017, it sure doesn’t look to be far away.
