Stormzy shares new single ‘Toxic Trait’ featuring Fredo

Stormzy has shared his brand new single ‘Toxic Trait’, featuring fellow rapper Fredo.

The new track follows on from Stormzy’s third album ‘This Is What I Mean’, which was released back in November, and sees Santan - aka Dave - take on production duties.

An accompanying video for ‘Toxic Trait’ has also been shared, as directed by Femi Ladi, and starring a handful of cameos from the likes of Ivorian Doll, Wretch 32, Specs Gonzalez, as well as none other than Alison Hammond as Fredo’s therapist. Yep, you read that right…

“After listening to the lyrics, I wanted to have fun with this video,” Femi Ladi, has said of making the clip. “I liked the idea of bringing a renaissance-style painting to life, whilst still feeling grounded in the world of Stormzy. We collaborated on all the scenarios together which was great - as well as being able to bring in the likes of Fredo and Alison Hammond for their own toxic therapy sessions!”
