Stream St. Vincent’s Record Store Day Black Friday release
Those not fortunate enough to snag the record can listen to ‘Pieta’ and ‘Sparrow’ online.

With Record Store Day’s Black Friday in the can for another year, ‘Pieta’ and ‘Sparrow, the tracks which formed St. Vincent’s exclusive 10-inch contribution to the event, have emerged online.
Originally recorded alongside the songs that would go on to feature on this year’s self-titled fourth album, the two had previously found their way into Annie Clark’s setlist, with ‘Pieta’ taking its place as a live staple and ‘Sparrow’ also given the occasional airing.
Speaking to DIY, Clark explained her decision to hold them back from the record, stating that “they just didn’t quite fit into what I was trying to say with ‘St Vincent’ unfortunately, they just didn’t fit in the weird puzzle piece that is sequencing an album.”
Listen to both tracks via Consequence of Sound.
