Sunboy stream new track, ‘A.B.C.D.N.A.’

Sunboy are streaming a brand new track, ‘A.B.C.D.N.A.’, which is set to feature on a forthcoming compilation by label/curator 80N7.

This new cut sees the Colorado duo refining their psych/‘Screamadelica’-indebted fizz into something cut-throat sharp. Guitars are plugged into new dimensions, but instead of giving into outward-thinking, they offer up something streamlined, centred around drum machine patterns and a dayglow aesthetic.

‘80N7’is out on 27th September, available for pre-order via Rough Trade. It features previously unheard efforts from Spring King, Happyness and Gorgeous Bully, and it’s being released in time for this year’s Cassette Store Day. DIY premiered Fake Laugh’s entry, ‘As I Get to Know You Better’, last month.
