Sweden’s Magic Potion get woozy with ‘Booored’ track
Stockholm group are putting out a debut LP on PNKSLM later this year.

Earlier this year, Stockholm trio Magic Potion captured no-frills slacker pop like Mac DeMarco experiencing a eureka moment. Their ‘Deep Web’ track is an early lo-fi 2015 highlight, and it’s set to form part of a new release, the band’s debut ‘Melt’ EP.
The new release - out 1st June UK label Beech Coma - also includes ‘Booored’, another dose of under-ether wooziness. It sees vocalist Gustaf Montelius moaning about days indoors, lack of opportunities and crap nights out in a vicious display of apathy.
‘Melt’ is out as a cassette (pre-order), with a debut LP set to follow later this year on PNKSLM.
