Lambrini Girls, Good Neighbours, HONESTY and more join lineup for Cardiff’s Sŵn Festival
They’re just some of the second wave of names to be newly confirmed for the Welsh weekender.
Wales’ premier festival for new music discovery, Sŵn has just announced a whole host of new names for this year’s edition, including punk provocateurs Lambrini Girls, breakout duo Good Neighbours, and mind-melting Leeds outfit HONESTY.
Set to take place from 17th-19th October in a variety of venues around Cardiff, 2024’s Sŵn Festival will be part of the Cardiff Music City Festival - a three week long celebration of the Welsh capital’s artists, art, and artistic spaces.
Among the other new additions to this year’s lineup are Radiohead drummer Philip Selway, Welsh natives The Tubs, and South London stalwarts Automotion, all of whom join an already stacked bill including the likes of English Teacher, Antony Szmierek, Porij, and mary in the junkyard.
Placing a considered focus on Welsh talent and Wales’ grassroots scene, Sŵn will have five stages on its opening night (at Clwb Ifor Bach, Tiny Rebel, The Moon and Fuel), before expanding its scope to include programming at Tramshed, Jacobs Antique Market, Cornerstone and Porter’s for the remaining two days.
