T In The Park Announce 2012 Ticket Sale Date

T In The Park have revealed the date on which tickets for the 2012 event are to go on sale: Friday 2nd December, at 9am.

No acts have been confirmed yet - though there is a rumour (via The Sun) that having recently reformed, The Stone Roses might make an appearance.

Festival Director Geoff Ellis commented: ‘Plans for 2012 are already well underway here and once again we are securing some of the finest acts on the planet to perform before the world’s most passionate music fans. The time is now to secure tickets to the 2012 festival.’

In 2012 the event will take place in Kinross-shire, from 6th - 8th July. This year the festival hosted sets from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Beyonce and Pulp.
