Tei Shi unveils ‘See Me’ single, produced by Glass Animals’ Dave Bayley
Slinky, playful new track follows the superb ‘Bassically’.
Brooklyn newcomer Tei Shi is streaming ‘See Me’, a new single that follows on from October’s head-turning breakthrough, ‘Bassically’.
While that number was schooled in a pulsating Italo-dance hybrid, ‘See Me’ is even less straight down the line. Unorthodox pop that dazzles and dizzies, it comes produced by Glass Animals’ Dave Bayley, who injects the track with curious click-clack patterns and murky synths - a staple of his band’s ‘Zaba’ debut.
The new single is out now in the UK via Double Denim.
This November, Tei Shi plays the following North American dates:
13 Washington DC, U Street Music Hall (w/ GEMS, Verite)
15 Brooklyn, Babys All Right (w/ Yumi Zouma)
17 Toronto, The Drake Hotel (w/ Seoul)
19 M for Montreal
