Telegram sign up for new Speedy Wunderground single, ‘Inside Outside’

London outfit Telegram are expanding their minds for a new one-off single, ‘Inside Outside’, set for release on 9th March via Dan Carey’s Speedy Wunderground label.

A quick reminder of the Speedy process: Songs are recorded in 24 hour sessions at Carey’s South London studios. Most of the time, bands aren’t even allowed to get lunch - instead, the aim is to get submerged in lights, smoke and just enough insanity to create something out of the ordinary.

Telegram certainly tick the boxes on their new single, with both sides streaming below on DIY. Backing their nostalgia-laced glam (showcased on 2013 single ‘Follow’), their imaginations go even deeper with the lead track. Carey’s dub version (billed as Mr Dan’s, for the record) places the dagger-sharp guitar rock in a completely new environment.

Previously, Speedy Wunderground’s worked wonders with Childhood, Toy & Natasha Khan and The Archie Bronson Outfit. Telegram’s effort is taken from a forthcoming compilation - the second under the label’s belt.
