Temples release ‘Toe Rag Session’

They’ve also shared a short film.

Temples released their album ‘Volcano’ back in March and it proved to be explosive. In our review of the album, we said: “If Temples needed to prove that they were more than talented revivalists, then ‘Volcano’ should silence the doubters”.

Now, as the year draws to a close, the band are back with a new EP! ‘Toe Rag Session’ is out now and features brand new recordings of three tracks from the record: ‘Roman Godlike Man’, ‘Strange Or Be Forgotten’ and ‘How Would You Like To Go?’ They were recorded at the Toe Rag Studios by producer Liam Watson in Hackney.

As well as releasing the EP, the band have also shared a short film of the session, filmed by Paul Kelly. As well as capturing the session itself, it also pays homage to films of old from schools and the Open University.

Earlier in the year, we caught up with Temples to talk all about ‘Volcano’. Catch up with the full interview here.
