Tennis Schedule New Album For February, Stream New Single
The follow up to 2011’s ‘Cape Dory’ is due in February of next year.

Tennis will release their second album - the follow up to 2011’s ‘Cape Dory’ - in February of next year. Due on the 14th of the month, it’ll come out through Fat Possum preceded by the release of a new single, ‘Origins’ - which you can have a listen to below.
The husband-and-wife duo, Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, have been working on the material with The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney. Speaking to DIY back in July, they said of the new material: ‘We will always take time to sail together, but the concept behind ‘Cape Dory’ will never be repeated. We won’t need to go on any sort of grandiose adventure in order to make another album.
‘We are planning on varying our instrumentation slightly. That change alone will aid in the evolution of our sound. We want to challenge ourselves musically in future recordings and are striving to write parts that are just a little bit too hard for us.’
They’ll be touring the release alongside Miniature Tigers in December.
