The 1975 to sell unreleased song on cassette at Independent Label Market

Fresh from releasing their No.1 album ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’, The 1975 are set to release an unreleased song this weekend via cassette at the Independent Label Market in London.

The Independent Label Market takes place at King’s Cross’ Canopy Market on December 15th and 16th and the band are due to release a special limited edition cassette at the market featuring their song ‘102’.

The track was previously only available in Japan, but 1000 copies of the song will be available on a stall ran by their label Dirty Hit on 15th December as part of a series of exclusive releases taking place across the market. You can listen to the track digitally below.

Last week the band’s third album went straight to no.1 on the Official Albums Chart, shifting 50,000 combined sales, including 8,286 on vinyl. It makes them the first British band since Arctic Monkeys to debut at Number 1 with their first three albums.
