BRITs Week
The 1975, Wild Beasts and more are playing small London gigs in aid of War Child
The charity and the BRIT Awards are hosting all kinds of smaller-than-usual gigs across the capital next month.
The BRIT Awards and War Child have teamed up to bring some big names to smaller-than-usual venues in London next month to raise funds for the charity, and there’s a few belters in there.
War Child BRITs Week will see The 1975 playing a show at The Dome in Tufnell Park on the 21st, while Wild Beasts round off the event by performing at Omeara on the 24th. Elsewhere, there’s sets from Jack Savoretti, Basement Jaxx, a special acoustic evening with Richard Hawley and Paul Weller. Oh, and I guess if you wanted to you could see Critics Choice winner “Rag’n’Bone Man” at Clapham Grand.
If you fancy being a part of the intimate audiences, then with a £5 donation fans can enter a prize draw to tickets from 9am on Friday 20th January by visiting the War Child BRITs Week website. There’s no limit on how many shows people can put themselves forward for.
See the full list of shows taking place below (and yes, that is Rick Astley there – he’s never gonna give you up).
