The Acid stream debut album ‘Liminal’ in full
Debut LP is out via Infectious Music this July.
Makeshift trio The Acid are streaming the tropical storm of a debut album ‘Liminal’ in full.
The three-piece - consisting of Australian songwriter Ry X, production rig expert Steve Nalepa and world renowned DJ Adam Freeland - started the record late last year following initial sessions in LA. After an initial EP released in a cloud of mystery, they managed to cobble together enough creative spirit to make an entire full-length. There’s the distinct, breathy beauty of ‘Animal’, right up to the more jagged punch of ‘Creeper’. It’s a record that captures a very precise amount of time, one defined by ‘chill vibes’ and a few illicit substances, presumably.
They’ve been on the road with this record for the past couple of months and it makes its UK festival debut at Latitude 2014.
‘Liminal’ is out 7th July via Infectious Music - read DIY’s four star review here.
