The Big Moon release new ‘The Road’ single
Surprise! The four-piece’s new single is streaming now ahead of a 7” release on Handsome Dad.
News from The Big Moon has been sparse to date, but each new release has sparked the next step of their unstoppable fire. Today’s surprise drop of new single ‘The Road’ is no exception.
Produced by the band themselves and subsequently mixed by Spring King’s head honcho Tarek Musa, ‘The Road’ is a fearsome addition to their canon - all booming percussion and a tense frustration as frontwoman Juliette Jackson sings of a “heel that’s stuck in every drain”, it may not harbour the same frantic pace as breakthrough track ‘Sucker’, but it’s every bit as vital. ‘The Road’ is coming out as a limited 7” on Handsome Dad Records - pre-order that here.
They take to the road in a month’s time as part of DIY Presents the Neu Tour 2015 - on this evidence, the run’s only going to get more unmissable. Read DIY’s chat with Jackson ahead of the tour here.
The Big Moon will play DIY Presents the Neu Tour 2015, also featuring VANT and INHEAVEN and starting 1st October. See the dates here and get tickets here.
