The Big Moon share debut single, ‘Sucker’
London four-piece are set to head off on a UK tour with Yak.
A couple of months back, a group called The Moon left everyday fools dumbstruck with their twisting-and-turning debut track ‘Eureka Moment’. Few bands arrive so blatantly ready to take over, and after a tiny name change (they’re called The Big Moon now), the four-piece are wasting no time with a follow-up.
‘Sucker’ is the London band’s debut single proper. Juliette, Soph, Celia and Fern are putting it out on independent label Hard Up on 15th June. Stepped in a rollicking, grunge-lined aesthetic, more than anything ‘Sucker’ is a brutal shock to the system, neatly-penned songwriting being given an electric shock.
Beginning tomorrow, The Big Moon are heading out on a UK tour with fellow DIY favourites Yak. Pre-order the ‘Sucker’ single here.
