The Breeders are set to release a new album next year
The news was revealed on the ‘WTF With Marc Maron’ podcast.

Back in October, The Breeders returned with the line-up from 1993’s ‘Last Splash’ (Kim and Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Mcpherson) and a brand new single, ‘Wait In The Car’.
It seems like there’s much more on the horizon for the band in the year to come though. As reported by Pitchfork, Kim was recently a guest on an episode of the ‘WTF With Marc Maron’ podcast, where Maron revealed that the group would be releasing a new album in 2018.
Not only that, but Kim herself revealed a few details of her own, chatting about her upbringing, the beginning of her musical career, Boston and more. She also unveiled that Steve Albini had “recorded two songs drum-wise” for the upcoming LP.
Listen to the full podcast here, with the chat starting at about the 26 minute mark.
