Bug off
The Bug returns with new album, recruits Grouper and Death Grips as special guests
‘Angels and Devils’ is out this August - listen to previews of two new tracks.
London producer The Bug has announced his first album in six years.
‘Angels & Devils’ follows the cult favourite ‘London Zoo’ - it’s out via Ninja Tune on 24th August.
Appearing alongside Kevin Martin on the record will be Liz Harris of Grouper, plus Death Grips and Gonjasufi, both of which appear on a new preview of two songs on the record.
The album’s set to be split into two halves, with ‘Angels’ rooting for something psychedelic, while ‘Devils’ gets things into a more cutting, in-your-face mode. Out of the previewed tracks, ‘Save Me’ appears in the first half, with ‘Fuck a Bitch’ slotting into the latter camp. Anything with Death Grips make an appearance would - let’s be honest.
‘Save Me’ and ‘Fuck a Bitch’ can be previewed below.
