Booking now The Cure to play 2019 edition of Glasgow Summer Sessions

The band will play their first Scottish show in 27 years next August.
Fresh off the back of announcing loads of festival appearances last week, The Cure are at it again: this time, they’ve confirmed plans to appear at next year’s edition of the Glasgow Summer Sessions.
The band, who are the first headliner to be announced for next year’s series of shows, will play their first Scottish show in 27 years when they perform at the city’s Bellahouston Park on 16th August.
That’s not all, either; Mogwai, The Twilight Sad and The Joy Formidable will be opening proceedings for Robert Smith et al.
Tickets for the show are priced from £59.50, and go on sale this Friday (26th October) at 9am.
The Cure are also set to play a handful of shows elsewhere in Europe next summer - their current run of dates looks a little like this:

08 Dublin, Malahide Castle
16 Florence, Firenze Rocks Festival
29 Belgium, Rock Werchter
JULY
04 Serbia, EXIT Festival
17 Athens, EJEKT Festival
AUGUST
