Update
The Dillinger Escape Plan’s drummer plays on that new Glassjaw album
It exists! It actually exists!
Remember that new Glassjaw album? The one that’s been speculated and teased for nearly a decade and a half; the one that was debuted at a tiny London show this January; the one that’s dropped off the face of the earth? Yeah, that one - turns out it actually exists.
The existence of said record was confirmed by none other than Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Billy Rymer in a new interview for the 100 Words Or Less podcast - turns out he’s on the sticks and skins for the new release.
“I recorded a record for them that’s probably due to come out sometime like 2036, I’m thinking,” he says with a laugh. “I would think somewhere between then and… yeah. No, hopefully it will be out next year… I don’t know how much they want me talking about that cause they’re very private with their stuff and their business. But I tracked a bunch of songs for them - a whole album’s worth of material - and I guess they’re just waiting to see how they’re going to release it.”
As for joining Glassjaw live, Billy deftly avoids that particular question - “it’s definitely a possibility” he says. How non-committal.

So far, all we know of that new Glassjaw album is‘New White Extremity’, the record’s presumed opener, and the news that they “kind of” had a release date back in February. No rush, lads. You take your time.
