The Go! Team share Record Store Day single, ‘Ye Ye Yamaha’

The Go! Team aren’t afraid of making up for last time. Four years between albums (they just released ‘The Scene Between’), Ian Parton’s pack are back with another new track, ‘Ye Ye Yamaha’.

Parton’s latest forms a new single exclusive to Record Store Day, out tomorrow on Saturday 18th April. Giddy, retro-infused and revved up, it’s a neat showcase of what this Brighton act does best. Ian says the song is “a French girl on a motorcycle song featuring the amazing Lispector from Bordeaux on vox. It’s plastered with revving motor FX and a wailing guitar doing an impression of one. I suppose it’s a more badass version of ‘Harley Davidson’ by Bridget Bardot.”
