The Horrors have shared new track ‘Weighed Down’
It comes a couple of weeks before they’re set to unveil new album ‘V’!

It’s getting closer to the time when The Horrors are set to unveil their aptly-titled fifth album ‘V’ (it’s due on 22nd September!)
Last month they revealed the epic closing track ‘Something To Remember Me By’ and true to its word, it’s been pretty much stuck in our heads ever since. Now, with just a couple of weeks before the release of ‘V’, they’ve shared new one ‘Weighed Down’. It sees the band delving a little more into their shoegaze tendencies, with squalling guitars and heavy drums, Faris Badwan’s voice floating around the mix.
Talking about the song on Facebook, the band said: “Good morning/ afternoon/ night. It’s two weeks til we finally get to share V with you. But until then, a new song called WEIGHED DOWN. We wrote this right at the beginning and it clung on til the bitter end”.
Next month, The Horrors will also be heading out on a tour of the UK and Ireland, taking in Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, London and more along the way. Tickets are on sale now.
We also had a chat to The Horrors in the new September 2017 issue of DIY, which is out right now.
