The Killers announce live return with Firefly Festival appearance
Brandon Flowers and co. are headlining the Delaware festival.
The Killers have announced their first headline festival appearance in over a year, suggesting the band’s hiatus has come to an end.
Back in 2013, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, although that hasn’t prevented festival appearances or the traditional Christmas single. Brandon Flowers’ debut solo record is still anticipated for 2015.
Brandon Flowers and co. are topping the bill for Firefly Music Festival, taking place 18th-21st June in Dover, Delaware. An 80,000 capacity fest, it’s also confirmed Kings of Leon, with one final headliner yet to be revealed.
Morrissey and Modest Mouse are also on the bill, with Bastille and Snoop Dogg high in the pecking order.
Run the Jewels, Ryn Weaver, Jungle, Broods and Spoon are all confirmed, too.
Tickets will be available soon.
