The Killers Plan To ‘Take A Breather’ According To Drummer
Fresh from releasing their ‘Direct Hits’, it looks likely that the four-piece may be scheduling some down time.

Having released their greatest hits compilation ‘Direct Hits’ just this week, The Killers look to be planning to ‘take a breather’ in the future, according to drummer Ronnie Vannucci.
Fresh from appearing at last weekend’s MTV European Music Awards, the drummer spoke to MSN about what will come next for the band, and how it may take ‘a little while’ for a fifth album from the four-piece to emerge.
‘I don’t think it will take an unnaturally long time for us to get guys together, but it’s time to take a breather and ground out a little bit…’, he told the publication. ‘I think everybody is looking forward to putting their feet up for a little while and having some normalcy.’
He also added that, whilst some members of the band may be looking to embrace the time off, he’s already got his sights set on another record for his other project Big Talk: ‘I think I want to make another record. I’m already starting it. I like to keep moving. I love that notion of momentum. I think some of the guys are just going to chill out, keep writing probably, make sure to get some rest.’
The Killers’ ‘Direct Hits’ is out now. Watch their video for ‘Shot At The Night’ below.
