The Killers score fifth UK number one with ‘Wonderful Wonderful’
The album also gave Brandon Flowers and co their first US chart-topper.

The Killers released their new album ‘Wonderful Wonderful’ last month (22nd September), and it’s given them their fifth UK number one (out of five - not bad going, huh?).
The album has also - much more surprisingly, if we’re honest - become only their first chart-topper in the US.
‘Wonderful Wonderful’ follows 2012’s ‘Battle Born’, and comes after the band’s bonkers comeback single ‘The Man’ and shows at Glastonbury, Hyde Park and Brixton Academy.
The album knocked Foo Fighters’ latest effort ‘Concrete And Gold’ off the top spot on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Killers are set to head out on a UK arena tour in support of the album in November. View the dates and watch the band’s truly amazing video for ‘The Man’ below.
