The Kooks To Play Liverpool Sound City 2014
Brighton bunch close out the 1st-3rd May fest, also featuring Royal Blood, Jagwar Ma & More.
The Kooks have been confirmed as the closing act for this year’s Liverpool Sound City Festival, taking place 1st-3rd May 2014.
This is on the back of Luke Pritchard and co.’s dow-diggy-diggy-di-down single called ‘Down’, unveiled a couple of weeks back. The Brighton group play an underground carpark stage, which last year played host to a closing set from Bastille.
The three day festival and music conference is set to host Jon Hopkins, Albert Hammond Jr. and Thumpers, with other new faces arriving in the form of Superfood, Fat White Family, Drenge and The Wytches.
Elsewhere on the line-up, you’ll find Jungle, Gruff Rhys, East India Youth, PINS, Say Lou Lou, Wolf Alice, Clean Bandit, Courtney Barnett and Factory Floor.
DIY also has a stage at the event, featuring Blood Red Shoes, DZ Deathrays, The Hold Steady, Royal Blood, Jagwar Ma and much, much more.
