The Last Shadow Puppets share new album teaser

The Last Shadow Puppets have shared another teaser for their forthcoming second album, due in Spring 2016.

Alex Turner and Miles Kane confirmed their return earlier this month, sharing a grainy Super 8-filed clip across dusky American cities and motel bars. This time round, a close-shaved Kane steals the show. Quoting professional wrestler Ric Flair and racing across beaches with a surfboard, he makes the whole thing come across very Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Earlier this year, Owen Pallett tweeted that he was working on a “classic” record with The Last Shadow Puppets, but he’s since deleted the tweet. It initially read: “That rare and thrilling moment when the record you’re working on crosses the threshold into Classic Status #tlsp2.” Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford has produced the album - he makes a very quick cameo in this new teaser, as it happens.

The group’s debut album came out in 2008. Watch the new teaser below.
